Andi Weigand White
Vintage: 2020
Origin: Franconia, Germany
Grapes: Muller Thurgau, Silvaner, Scheurebe, Bacchus
Alcohol: 12%
Following an extremely tough year with persistent frosts, Andi has still managed to produce some outstanding wines. Like all of his other whites, the grapes for this wine have been directly pressed in a 100-year-old basket press, after which the wine is transferred to 30 barrels ranging from 1000 to 3000 litres for 9 months. As is standard practice with Andi’s wines, this one is unfiltered, unfined, and has no added sulfur.
