This 'Heaven and Earth' blend of 50% Zweigelt and 50% Cabernet Sauvignon is grown in the gravelly schist soils east of Lake Neusiedlersee. The grapes are fermented in open-top tanks, matured for two years in big oak barrels, and then bottled without fining or filtering. This Cuvee's ten-year anniversary was in 2017, and its new celebratory label looks fantastic. Funky then floral, then herbal, then savoury, then tangy. There is a lot happening right now.
