Milan's father once planted a Dornfelder vineyard, inspired by his time spent working at a vine nursery in Germany. Milan wasn't a fan of this and was inclined to tear it out and replant it, but we're glad he didn't! Bavirka is mostly made from Dornfelder, although there is also some Zweigelt and an undisclosed combination of white grapes in the mix. The result is a wine with low tannins, low alcohol, a deep colour, and excellent drinkability. With flavours of cherry and blackberry, this wine is incredibly playful and delicious, and it tastes great slightly chilled.
