Stajerska Kollektiv White is a field blend of grapes representative of the modern landscape of Stajerska, Slovenia. No single grape is dominant, with the wine featuring well known favourites such as Furmint, Sauvignon Blanc, and Chardonnay, as well as lesser known, and less common varietals, like Muller-Thurgau and Kerner. The wine is has fresh citrusy acidity, pronounced minerality and ripe fruit. Ultra approachable and ultra drinkable!

Back in 2021 Newcomer Wines started introducing KAMPTAL KOLLEKTIV. A simple but powerful mission — to support family-run local grape growers that preserve the small structured landscape of the historical wine region Kamptal. Grapes from healthy vineyards — cultivated by real farmers.

Michael and Maria Gross were inspired by the thought of initiating the very same impact in their home region — the beautiful and lush Štajerska — much like in the Kamptal (and in fact many regions around the globe) the middle class of agriculture is decreasing at a rapid rate - in many cases growing fruit, making wine and finding customers alike is limited to a handful of wineries in the region.

Štajerska Kollektiv stems from the need for transparency and helping local fruit growers to convert their vineyards to organic farming, which in turn helps them to create a sustainable perspective and keeps their family (business) running.
