Milan Nestarec's Ruz, a rose to finish the Nestarec 1 litre rainbow, is back after an eight-year hiatus. Zweigelt, St. Laurent, and Cabernet Sauvignon are combined to make Ruz 2021. All of the grapes are carefully crushed into stainless tanks for spontaneous fermentation after being gently foot-stomped for a day. Milan can maintain the wine's freshness and youth by using stainless steel rather of wood. The palate follows through with raspberry, jasmine, and lime blossom after the nose leads with florality and red fruits. Easy drinking and fun, this is one that is not to be missed.
