Deep Loess and chalky clay soil are the base for this Grüner Veltliner. The gentle rolling hills and plateaus the vines are planted on allow the grapes to receive the ideal amount of sun, resulting in the perfect balance between ripeness and acidity for this natural Grüner Veltliner. On the nose you get notes from crushed apples and pears with herbal nuances. On the palate there is a lot of spiciness, structure and a refreshing mineralic acidity. For us this is the natural born beauty of Grüner Veltliner.

The Schodls, Viktoria, Mathias and Leonhard, are a winemaking family to keep an eye on. The wines are already showing well ahead of their age, with 2023 being their fourth vintage making natural wines.
