Coming from the basalt-rich Templomdombi vineyard, this Furmint is a punchy and textured white. The grapes were harvested in several stages to ensure perfect ripeness before being aged for 24 months in clay amphoras. It even has a little influence from noble botrytis, which adds interesting layers of honey, black tea, and dried herbs to the mix.

Expect a bright hit of lime and grapefruit followed by a smooth, waxy feel and flavours of ripe pear. It was bottled without fining, filtering, or any added sulphur, keeping the vivid citrus energy and flinty minerals front and centre. It is a deep, salty, and incredibly fresh wine that pairs perfectly with a good meal.
