Ca Boit Libre Mon Blanc Orange

Damien's incredibly easy-drinking Chasselas maceration! This gorgeous orange wine proves that skin contact can transform even the humble Chasselas into something truly special. Light orange in colour and incredibly aromatic, it's all about freshness, fluidity, and vivacity rather than power.

The nose bursts with candied and exotic fruits alongside subtle smokiness, whilst the palate delivers perfectly balanced acidity and minerality with orange and mandarin notes. There's a lovely hint of bitterness and maybe just a touch of sweetness, plus very light tannins that keep everything elegant and fresh.

Hand-harvested Chasselas gets skin maceration before pressing, then spontaneous fermentation and 12 months ageing in barrique. The result is imposing yet fresh, with beautiful spicy length and that big mineral backbone. If there's a bit of reduction on opening, just decant and give it a swirl - serve nice and cool at 10-12°C.
