Don't let the name fool you! Christian Tschida's Brutal is anything but - this elegant Pinot Noir blend (with a cheeky shot of Blaufränkisch) is pure sophistication from Austria's Burgenland. Made from vines up to 40 years old on lacustrine chalk soils, it's named after Barcelona's legendary Bar Brutal and lives up to the reputation.

Hand-harvested, foot-crushed, and fermented with wild yeasts in large barrels, this 2023 vintage tastes like drinking a forest - wet earth, mushrooms, and blackberry all mingling beautifully. There's also raspberry and cherry brightness, plus that signature Tschida slight fizz that'll settle with time.

One year in barrel, no fining, filtering, or sulphur - just Christian's masterful touch and the terroir speaking for itself. Complex, intense, and gorgeous.
