This crisp Austrian white gets its vibrant energy from a cool vineyard site refreshed by chilling winds from the nearby Danube River. The organic grapes grow on iron-rich red gravel soils and are pressed as whole bunches before fermenting naturally in stainless steel. It spends a long time resting on its lees to add a bit of complexity, and because it is bottled completely unfiltered, the winemaker actually recommends giving the bottle a little shake before you pour.

Expect a dangerously easy-drinking wine packed with fresh green apple and juicy pear flavours. It has a silky texture on the palate, backed by a mouthwatering acidity and that classic Grüner kick of white pepper brought out by the unique soils. It is an absolute treat on its own, but it also pairs beautifully with everything from fresh seafood and fried chicken to a classic Wiener Schnitzel.
