Kalkundkiesel Weiss is a vibrant blend of Weissburgunder, Grüner Veltliner, and Muskateller from biodynamic vineyards around Lake Neusiedl. The name translates to "limestone and pebbles," reflecting the diverse soils where the grapes are grown. The wine is fermented on the skins for a short period and aged on its lees in old barrels for eight months, resulting in a lightly honey-coloured wine that is bottled unfined and unfiltered for maximum expression.

The nose is stony and expressive, offering notes of elderflower, hay, and meadow flowers with a touch of mint. On the palate, it is super-fresh and zesty, balancing ripe flavours of peach, pear, and lime with a hint of roasted hazelnut. This is a cloudy, characterful white that offers an extra layer of depth and structure from its skin-contact upbringing, making it a sensational choice for summer drinking.
