Crafted by Arthur Bohn for his zero-sulphur range, this skin-contact orange wine blends Pinot Gris and Riesling grown high up on schist slopes sheltered by the Ungersberg mountain. The local slate rock acts as a natural heater, storing daytime warmth to gently ripen the grapes through cooler nights. A third of the fruit is destemmed before four weeks of open-vat skin maceration, followed by fermentation and ageing in traditional wooden foudres, going into the bottle completely unfiltered.
In the glass, it shows a luminous deep orange colour, balancing a lush texture and polished tannins with an energetic mineral lift. The profile starts with bright pomelo, morello cherry, and quince before opening up to richer undertones of bitter orange chutney, cocoa, and caramel. Pour it alongside tapas, flavoured gambas, or a bowl of spiced couscous.
