With its clayey-limestone soils, the hills above Trento welcome the Manzoni Bianco and mature the grapes late into September. This cross between Riesling and Pinot Bianco embodies the personality of the Fontanasanta vineyards. Being patient is necessary for it to develop over time; Fontanasanta Manzoni Bianco is a wine that shines at least three years after harvest. Fontanasanta is a well-known and enticing wine with a deep straw hue. Intense scents of peach, pears, spices, flowers, honey, and caramel are present in the bouquet along with a distinct mineral tinge. On the palate, it starts with outstanding balance and structure. Outstanding acidity gives the wine a solid backbone while minerality balances out the delicate and luscious components.
