The wine formerly known as "Rot" makes its triumphant return with a more complex vinification this year! The blend brings together five varieties with different treatments – Dornfelder, Regent and Pinotin are destemmed and macerated for 6 days, St Laurent gets a full 2 weeks of maceration, while the Portugieser is pressed off directly. Everything ages in a mix of stainless steel tanks and old barrels before blending. What emerges is light and vibrant with zippy acidity and gentle tannins that make it incredibly easy-drinking at just 10% alcohol. There's a radiating energy to this wine that's cheerful yet backed by serious herbal structure – it's pure glou glou material that's best served cold and enjoyed in one sitting, preferably in the last rays of summer sun.
