Jean-Yves Péron is a legend in the Savoie region, and this bottle shows exactly why. He works with organic Mondeuse grapes grown on steep limestone and schist slopes. To keep the process as pure as possible, he uses whole-bunch fermentation and ages the wine in old barrels without fining, filtration, or added sulphur.

This 2023 vintage is a total standout, balancing rustic charm with juicy ripeness. It is a bright ruby red packed with dark, tangy fruit and a cool, graphite-like finish. With a medium body and just a touch of tannin, it is incredibly easy to drink and very hard to put down.
