Jonas Dostert is quickly becoming one of the most exciting names to watch in the Mosel, working right on the border with Luxembourg. He is all about low intervention and organic farming, and this Elbling is a brilliant introduction to his style. It is made from young vines handled with a strict natural approach, bottled unfiltered with minimal sulphur and aged with just a whisper of oak to add some texture without overpowering the fruit.

In the glass, this is stunningly playful and precise. You get a fresh hit of citrus and minty notes, backed up by white flowers and a serious mineral streak. It is still quite tart and lively on the palate, offering a superbly fresh feel that keeps you coming back for another sip. An elegant, animating white that shows why Jonas is considered such a top talent in the region.
