This wine is exactly what it sounds like—an ever-changing blend that perfectly captures Kolonia 52's philosophy of controlled chaos through the fusion of red and white varieties. Made from early-picked Pinot Noir, Cabernet Sauvignon, Furmint, and a handful of mystery varieties from old bush vines, it's a wine that's genuinely singing in the glass. The Pinot Noir gets destemmed and fermented for 7 days on skins before spending 8 months in a 600L barrel on lees, whilst the Cabernet Sauvignon ferments whole-bunch alongside those unknown varieties, all aged in a 300L amphora topped up with Furmint juice until spring. The magic happens just two days before bottling when everything gets blended - no additions, no SO2, no filtering or fining. What you get is a vibrant dusky pink wine that bursts with red fruit tea on ice, fresh currants, wild strawberries, and those deep green blackberry leaf notes, plus a spicy, almost animalistic edge that keeps you guessing. On the palate, it's all about that wonderful crunch and juicy freshness at just 11% alcohol—the kind of wine where "easy-drinking" actually means something, with bright acidity dancing alongside sour cherry and cassis flavours before finishing surprisingly light on its feet.
