An entirely distinct white from a region renowned for its reds. This is from an experimental block of Noual, Sylvaner, Sauvignon Blanc, and Chenin Blanc that Maya and Nicolas planted in 2017. The grapes undergo a fermentation process and are matured for more than two years in a sizable Alsatian barrel, resulting in a wine with abundant complexity and subtle oxidative notes. One of our shops most elegant and thought-provoking white wines; a must-try for all lovers of premium Chenin Blanc or Jura-style white wines. 

Domaine La Calmette was started in 2015 by Maya & Nicolas, a talented couple who bring not only a thorough knowledge of viticulture but also a meticulously researched scientific backbone to their natural wines. Explosive, bursting with life and vibrancy.
