Les Errances Cartouche 2023 is a vibrant, light-bodied red wine from the Loire Valley, crafted by Warren and Maïté Perrocheau using low-intervention methods. Made from 100% Grolleau grapes, this wine bursts with fresh red fruit aromas - wild strawberries and ripe raspberries - complemented by delicate violet florals and subtle citrus notes. The palate is remarkably fresh and elegant, with a smooth, refined structure that makes it dangerously drinkable. The winemaking process reflects Warren and Maïté's careful approach: hand-harvested grapes undergo a 14-day whole bunch maceration in concrete tanks, followed by spontaneous fermentation and 8 months of ageing, with just a touch of sulfur (10 mg/l) added before bottling. Best served slightly chilled, this wine is perfect for casual sipping, picnics, or paired with charcuterie and fresh cheeses.
