Cuvée Camille is sourced from a specific one-hectare, southwest-facing plot in La Roche du Py. This lieu-dit is situated within the renowned Côte du Py, renowned for its distinctive pocket of shallow granitic soil, surrounded by the volcanic blue schist, or "roches bleues," typical of the area. The topsoil in this parcel is thin, forcing the 80-year-old vines to plunge their roots directly into the bedrock. This challenging terroir results in a wine that is deep and concentrated, often displaying a rich, complex character with an almost southern French or "sudiste" quality.

The 2024 vintage delivers a refined flavour profile characterised by vibrant red berry notes and a subtle, grounding earthiness. On the palate, the wine offers a silky texture that carries flavours of ripe fruit, wild herbs, and spices. Despite its richness, it maintains a bright energy thanks to beautiful, salivating bitters that lend freshness to the finish. This is a structured and serious Morgon that is built to last, drinking well now but possessing the potential to evolve beautifully through 2035.
