The result is an energetic, terroir-driven expression that balances bright berry flavours with elegant notes of rosehip, parma violets, and subtle hints of eucalyptus and tobacco. Matured in neutral vessels (wood, clay, and cement) that allow the wine to breathe without imposing oak character, Matassa Rouge achieves an almost weightless purity while maintaining impressive concentration. With its fine nose, silky tannin structure, and vibrant acidity, this natural wine stands as a pure expression of Roussillon's unique landscape.
