Meet the wine formerly known as Brutal Rouge! Tom Lubbe renamed this beauty after taking over the historic Mas Ferriol near Perpignan, and it's a proper celebration of place. This gorgeous blend of 70% ancient Syrah vines with 30% Muscat à Petit Grains gets just three days of skin contact, creating something magical.
At only 10% alcohol, it's pure vin de soif - transparent garnet red with red currant, strawberry, and blueberry bursting through. The Muscat adds rose petals and spice, whilst those old Syrah vines bring cassis and wild herbs. Light-footed but full of character, it's like drinking liquid sunshine from Roussillon.
This is modern natural winemaking at its finest - no added sulphur, neutral ageing, and all the focus on those beautiful old vines. Perfect for Mediterranean tapas or just sipping on a summer afternoon.
The lowdown: Light, refreshing, and dangerously quaffable - Roussillon reinvented!
