Some wines immediately burst out of the glass, begging you to notice them – others are more subtle and understated, inviting you in to get to know them if you’re willing to give them the time. This 100% Neuburger (These are usually grapes used for TRBLMKR, blended with other parts of the vineyard, but in 2019 this particular part kept being so different from the rest that eventually Milan decided to bottle it as a wine in its own right) has great texture and body, is more savoury than fruity and rounded off with a touch of spice – the perfect bottle to pair with a take-away on the couch.
