Petr Koráb founded his Moravian winery in 2006 with a strong commitment to natural winemaking and preserving old vineyards, some of which date back to 1934. He believes low-intervention farming and cellar work are the only ways to retain the true soul of the terroir. This highly unusual orange wine is crafted in a Pet Nat style, where the juice undergoes a four-month maceration in local acacia wood barrels alongside dried leaves harvested directly from the vines.
In the glass, the wine shows a beautiful, bright pinkish-orange colour. The unique leaf-maceration process creates a complex and festive flavour profile, featuring distinct notes of mandarin, citrus peel, cinnamon, and baked apple pie. The palate is crisp and lively, wrapping up with an exciting, long-lasting finish that makes it a fascinating and deeply characterful bottle.
