Uncut Siller 2022 is a field blend of St Laurent, Frankovka (Blaufrankisch) and Zweigelt. This light red is a take on the Schiller style of wine seen in Hungary and Germany. Siller, which translates as “to shimmer”, is in reference to the colour and appearance of the wine. The fruit comes from Peter’s untrimmed vineyards, allowed to grow wild, hence the name Uncut Siller. A lively, vibrant red with a delicate, tannic finish, enjoy it chilled. This is addictive, don’t tell us we didn’t warn you!
