The Frick family have been producing natural wine since before it was trendy, and this Fischbach bottling shows why they're so respected. You'll enjoy lovely, bright strawberry and cranberry flavours, complemented by brilliant vegetal notes that add real character, all wrapped up in a mineral backbone that screams Alsace. It's got that perfect balance between classic Pinot elegance and just enough funk to keep things interesting. The fifteen-day maceration and zero-zero approach gives it this gorgeous bright garnet colour and a moreish quality that'll have you reaching for another glass. At six months on lees in massive old oak barrels, it has developed lovely complexity whilst keeping all that fresh, juicy fruit character intact - proper winemaking at its finest.
