Triptyque is a definitive expression of the Montagne de Reims, crafted by Timothée Stroebel from his Premier Cru vineyards in Villers-Allerand. This atypical Champagne is a true "triple" blend, uniting three grape varieties—Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier, and Chardonnay—grown across three distinct soil types: sand, limestone, and clay. The wine is a blend of multiple vintages, fermented spontaneously and aged in large oak barrels. Following the estate’s non-interventionist philosophy, it is bottled without filtration or cold stabilisation and finished with zero dosage, resulting in a pure Brut Nature style.
The nose is a complex invitation of citrus, white flowers, and golden brioche, often revealing a lightly oxidative character with hints of peach and toasted nuts. On the palate, the wine shows impressive structure and "shoulders," balancing a creamy mouthfeel with a sharp mineral tension and a distinct saline finish. It is a deep, artisanal Champagne that captures the ripeness and vitality of old vines, making it a perfect companion for oysters, ceviche, or fresh goat cheese.
