A small 6-acre winery located in Somlo, Tomcsanyi is run by husband and wife duo, Arpad and Nora. Their wines are beautiful representations of the volcanic and basaltic terroir of Somlo. For this Olaszrizling, whole bunches of grapes were pressed and fermented spontaneously with native yeast. The wine has spent 9 months aging on lees before being bottled without fining, filtering, or any additional sulfur is added. Only 600 bottles of this wine were produced.
