This elegant Pinot Noir comes from the Hochegg vineyard and is all about finesse. Karl and Eva Schnabel macerate the fruit for two weeks and then age it in old oak barrels for a year. While it shares the distinct "iron" minerality found in their other reds, this bottle is defined by its ripe and juicy fruit character.

It is light to medium in body with a vibrant, youthful energy. On the nose, you will find notes of sour cherry, raspberry and pomegranate. The palate is silky and smooth, offering flavours of strawberry and blueberry with a tiny pinch of pepper. The finish is clean and stony, with a subtle herbal touch that makes it incredibly refreshing. This is a sophisticated Austrian red that balances grace with a fun, fruity edge.
