This isn’t your typical Mosel Riesling; it’s a true orange wine made by fermenting the grapes on their skins, just like a red. Sourced from 40-year-old vines in the prestigious Schlossberg and Niederberg-Helden sites, the fruit is meticulously thinned to ensure only the most flavour-packed, small berries make the cut.

The 2021 season was a throwback to a more traditional Mosel climate, yielding a wine that is lighter in body but dialled up in acidity and aromatic precision. After three weeks of skin contact in open vats, including twice-daily "punch downs" by hand, the wine was aged in old 1,000-litre Mosel Fuder barrels. Bottled unfiltered and without added sulphur, it’s a textured, vibrant, and structural take on Riesling that’s as bold as its sunset-coloured hue.
