Cuvée du Chaos represents the experimental heart of Yann Bertrand's work. Sourced from centenarian Gamay vines in the Grand Pré vineyard, this is where Yann focuses his biodynamic efforts. He prioritises elegance and purity over raw power, creating a wine that is widely considered his most rebellious and liberated expression. The production process is meticulous, involving a night in a chill room followed by a cool carbonic maceration for up to 20 days using native yeasts. With no added sulphur or corrections, the wine is aged for nine months in a combination of amphorae and very old barrels.

The result is a wild and captivating wine that reveals an expressive nose of dark fruits, dried flowers, and a subtle touch of incense. On the palate, it is incredibly energetic and rhythmic, featuring balanced and playful texture and tannins that feel remarkably alive. It finishes with a long, evolving finish that is both unique and unpredictable. This is a soulful, high-energy red that highlights the work of Yann.
